Hello,
I like SG_2WASY's audio pack but it would be good to have a simpler basic install. In particular it would be good if some of the new flyables (eg. Me-210) and the sounds could be deactivated. This would allow greater customisation (as well as reduce the download size).
So I thought I would suggest splitting the flyables and sounds from the base back.

I could simply make a split for it, but im sure some people might not approve of it.

Well, no one has objected yet.
So, lets see what we need to do. One needs a copy of the *.dll and hacked exec. After that I assume it would be just a matter of thinning out the files directory and rebuilding the new *.sfs file so that it doesn't have any of the new flyables. Is there anything else?

You mean so that certain planes have NO sound at all? If thats the case, not a good idea.

Whichever way you slice it the total file size required will be the same. Installing 2 patches doubles the chances of something being done wrong.
Do we want to go back to the days of installing 3 CD's and 4 patches.(the "megapatch" was large , but a clear improvement).
Keep it user friendly please guys.

Size of flyable smaller then 1 mb.....

Question is.. how many people really like the sound... Somepeople have issues. I could make a pack. Which would be a basic mod, Wrapper.dll,il2fb.exe,Files.sfs, and a few extras.
SG2_Wasy wouldent mind ? and how many people want that ? As For Activateing and Deactiveateing... idk.
