INFLIGHT MAP? - pomak249 - 16.11.2007
Hi Guys,
Any of you modders come across a tweak to set the scale of the inflight map permanently? I'm fed up having to keep clicking the darn thing to reduce/increase the scale ! I Would like to set it permanently at a scale I prefer!

I think a lot of people would like that - and/or removal of the leather surround. I 've also heard requests for the map to be made semi-transparent - not sure how effective that would be though.

I managed to remove the ugly brown leather frame:

The map is neither scaleable nor got a transparency parameter so I'm afraid thats all I could do.

Is necessary the soundmod to get working this mod? What do we need?
TY.

Yes, you need the soundmod to get this working. I only replaced the original frames with 2 transparent tga files.
After you've installed the soundmod, you must add two lines to your files.txt and extract the zip to the root of your game directory.
Text to add:

Any idea how to remove the grid lines that are superimposed over the map? It's one of the critical things I need to take care of for the Nightfighter mod. :?
- Vpmedia - 17.11.2007
I'd say the lines in the maps are drawn using a programming function, not available as tga files.

I'm hoping there is a =1 that I can change to =0 somewhere....
