Japanese torp planes problem - CKY_86 - 22.11.2007
Both the Kate & Jill seem to be rolling to the left for me.
Anyone else getting this?
Great additions by the way

Yes, but nothing like the Avenger.
How much is torque and how much is trim?
Not had much time to fly it since DL'd

... well i can trim avenger but seams to me that there is no trim for japanese planes

B5N doesn't seem to have any trim at all..it's a little scary at slow speed (i have a twisty stick so using rudder to trim is kinda hard). It is one hell of a plane though...

Its all in the way you hold your tongue

Tip for B5N: hit the rudder key control (< >) 5 times, fly straight nice.
For take off Avenger in static CV whit torp and 25% of fuel: At he end of deck hit autolevel key, gear up, flaps up. Some times work.

Actually, thats not required for taking off.
The engine has so much torque, that all you have to do is control it. Lowering your rpm's with pitch control and your manifold pressure with your throttle you can get a decent take off with it set correctly.
Last time I tried this I had 60% Pitch with just under 50% power, full flaps on take off and I coasted right off the end and floated quite nicely into the air. I was loaded with a torp and 50% fuel as well, on a stationary carrier.
Another option is if you wish to do a full throttle take off, don't go full flaps until you pass the helm of the ship, once passed that, hit landing flaps right away and try and get your nose up, soon as your nose is up the end of the deck should be there and all you should have to do is lift your nose slightly.
Really sucks to not have any trim tho...
