Oxygen Mask Mod - SparrowThree - 25.11.2007
Would it be possible to change the altitude at which the oxygen masks appears on the pilot to 0? That has always bugged me in external views.

why? you only need oxygen over 10K ft. that's when it pops on in the game too, i think.
most would only wear it when they had too (over 10k)

- or were using the mic.

Throat Mics were used a hell of a lot....

Many types leaked fumes into the cockpits from startup. Masks needed to be worn at all times.

Also flying and fighting for many minutes over 3-4 000m in opened cockpits is kind of funny at the moment.
I think this will be one of the features of SoW BoB when it will come out.

Just to be technical, between 12,500 and 14,000 feet oxygen is required after 30 minutes. Above 14,000 feet oxygen is required at all times.

well sure, if you wan't the FAA regs to apply.

If you have better info than that please show me.
I for one fly at just over 10k on almost a daily basis for extended periods in an unpressurized aircraft and I do not need oxygen. That was the only reason I posted that. Just trying to pass on good info.
T, your post sure did nothing to help this thread.

I was taking into account the "different" temperature at that altitude...
Fighting in cold and with low oxigen in a aircraft without "defreeze" system (degivraj in romanian, sorry
) is a bit of a challange IMHO
