Question about gun sight color when flying with cockpit off. - AB_Moby - 08.12.2007

~S~ Gentlemen!

Would it be possible to change the color of the site from the pale white/yellow that it is now to either a solid red or green or even black??? I believe that would help when losing sight of the enemy when in heavy clouds and help reduce losing the chase angle when you get that horific glare from the sun, especially in a climb.....

Cheers, see you up there!!!

BTW, you guys are doing some awesome things!!!!

Do you mean this...: (The link is inoperative)

I think he means changing the colour of it to red, blue, green or something like that

And that is what... yellow? Tongue

Besides which - those are all nicer sights then stock anyway...

but if we made it red or green it could be easier when in the sun

this can be done your selves in the Reticle.mat file of each aircraft there is a line, check reticles of the planes you have dowloaded (mods) and change the numbers in the Null and Nill Folders that you downloaded from the default gunsight mod that changed the wonder woman reticles.

"ColorScale 0.8 0.4 0.0 0.75"
1st= Brightness
2nd=R
3rd=G
4th=B

2,3 and 4 may not be in that order though. Lower the number is to 0 the closer it is to black/dark
