QMB 2.0 Dead? - Skullbiscuit - 09.12.2007
I've not seen anything regarding the publication of version 2.0 of the QMB mod (the one that was supposed to permit adding all the new maps). If it has been dropped, is there a simple way to add all maps to permit air start missions without going through the tedious process of constructing each mission by hand within FMB and adding it then into QMB? If so could someone provide an outline of the method? Again only looking for air starts (keep it simple)

More likely it is actually in development, lack of updates means people are busy (possibly implementing it)!
People have been working quickly at adding new cockpits but there was at least six months before when they got the information and the releases started. The fact is the 3rd party is between ten and one hundred times slower than someone being paid to do the work (as we do it in our spare time).

I'm looking forward to this one too. Last update I've seen was here

Thanks --- well, lets hope FC and others have not dropped it. The added maps are fantastic and it sure would be nice to just be able to fire up a quick mission with any of the maps currently in the simulation.

You could enquire at the CWOS forum as that is where FatCat lives most of the time.

You can also use
Mission Mate or the
Uber Quick Mission Genrator... Dont think that just because the sim was hacked and folks are now able to make mods that the old reliable standbys have to fall by the wayside. Both 3rd party utilities are nice.... Check them outif yo havent already... they arent hard to learn....

Not dead.....
Totally free editable flight altitude (possible to type any altitude, like 2340 m or 51000 m if desired)
Cloudheight added from 0 to 2500 m by step of 250m
Adding map simply by an entry in a separate text file...
Perhaps available this week end on another forums.
