WIP "Project Sea Hurricane MKIIC" 4.04-4.05 - Hellzone - 18.12.2007

This is a mod for makeing the HurricaneMkIIMod a sea hurricane, this is only beta stage. For "4.04-4.05 only"



In the other topic they couldent get it too hook, After adding CArrestinghook 1 the model would catch the lines.
As you can see from the pictures below, the hook it's self is in a wrong postion, wrong model to use.. and no instructions to raise or lower it "YET" but it does catch the lines. This is a mod for HurricaneMkIIMod, Please rember this is just a test, Info, ideas will be taken into account.

The Fm has to have one changed value, and modding fm's for 4.08 is not allowed, it's also the main reason the other people werent able to get there hook to catch.

"Update" Hook Moved, Catches Easyer, Still Dosent move.

It's a shame that those of us, stuck with with 4.08, will never have a chance at these great mods. Sorry, just venting. Little frustrated. We've come so close.

I might make one for 4.08 without the FM Edit, use the A6M or something and then just use the Hurricanes models.

On all the games we play we have a land base as well as a carrier if we are doing such ops. We either get blown up on the way home or land on the ground instead of a carrier with them.

It'll be open house on 4.08 pretty soon (probably late January). Someone on the 1C forum posted this:

Мы могли вообще все на компьютере юзера проверять, но это было бы противозаконно (хотя наиболее просто и действенно...).
В общем мешают нам нормально БоБ-ом заниматься... Готовились только дополнение выпустить, а теперь придеться отложить... пока не сделаем, что сказал.
Не люблю я читеров.... И Ил-2 не предназначался для моддеров... Поэтому так долго и живет в онлайне..."

The 4.09 patch must surpass everything that the modders have done so far to be of any value. (to me at least)

"It will delay BoB".... Gimme a break.... Is "Oleg" scrambling to get the modding for this sim "undone"...

... I thought he had quit doing anything with IL-2 to "fully concentrate and dedicate himself to BoB"...

....

More than anything I'm quiet annoyed with the "can't do this....impossible to do that" answer to questions of the community about add-ons etc....
... Apparently it can be done.

It 's great to see the "community" come back and people working on additions to the sim.
That was the main (pre-UBI) mindset of Oleg & Co, so they should be happy.


Enough ranting... I'm off the soap box now...

I half suspect Oleg is thankful that the 'hacker kiddies' came out of the woodwork .. it's another of a long line of excuses to explain away the slipping production date of the Duke Nukem Forever of Flight Sim's, BoB, and it's cousins.

And yep, for all the excuses we've heard that this can't be done, or impossible for this to be implimented in game engine, the modders have made amazing progress with still partially locked code, in a brief 3 months.

Seems to me this latest diatrabe is a whole lot of bluster to distract those who would listen, from noticing the egg on Oleg's face.

I am simply thankful that the modding community can finally get started on IL2. These kinds of mods should have been available within a year or two of release, but no, Oleg had to spoil everyone's fun by blocking modders "to keep the content quality high" -- Let ME be the judge of that please mate.
