In IL2 I have noticed that every engine start seems to follow the same procedure. Crank slowly until engine fires.
Thats correct for engines like the merlin etc, but on the 109's especially the G ( seeing as its the only video proof i have....!!!! ) they used an inertia flywheel to start the engine. You'll notice that it is a lot more... abrubt and instantaneous than cranking an engine over.

Also this one illustrates the point I'm trying to make..

You can clearly hear the inertia flywheel 'buzzing' and the engine seems to burst into life.

The eng sound mod already has the sound of the inertia flywheel and I wondered
if there is any way to incorporate this into a mod???
I realise that its a small thing in the grand scheme of things.... but anyway its my 2 cents worth.

Thanks

Be nice to have a more realistic engine shutdown, prop spins a few more times before it stops, rather than so abruptly.
