Hello,

You are doing a big job trying to emprove this sim with all of these mods

Do you know if it is possible to encrease the altitude of the search light (object put on the ground) ?
Historically they were more powerfull, it would be nice to have this mod in my point of view.

Good idea. The current searchlight was designed for much lower spec computers. It would be great to bring them up to date. :wink:

Just tested it out. Works brilliant with no noticable hit on fps either. A great addition for us nightflyers

The biggest improvement would be to lengthen the blinding effect (but that requires working in the java unfortunately).

I was trying my hand at a bit of night fighting over Malta recently and wished I could turn the moon down a tad

I wondered if anyone remembered that
It's kind of on hold for a bit until a few pieces of the puzzle become available.

In the meantime you can darken up your nights by putting DECLIN = 1 in the load.ini of your map of choice. It takes the perma-sunset out of the night sky. Haven't figured out how to reduce the glow from the moon yet though.
