How to raise the eye postion of the pilot? - jermin - 27.01.2008
I found the default eye postion in 6 DOF mod was a bit lower so that I could only see the upper half of the reticle.

I duck down a bit and lean slightly to the left, hit the re-centre hotkey for the tir then relax back into the centre position. The gunsight is then fully visible.

Yes, that's what I'm doing now as a temperary solution. But It would be beter to have a raised pilot position. I've seen username has made it in the FW190 gunsight thread. So it's possible. BTW, this problem is from original IL2. In original IL2, the eye position of the normal postion is lower than the at gunsight postion (switch with Ctrl-F1).

there is a way i know of but it would mean modding the aircraft - but you would then be able to move eye level up or down within the heir.him file
so you would basicaly move your eye level up or down by editing the .him for the cockpit
