OLA... does anyone know how to turn down the echo you get when your near or on the ground...? :?

is that due to Environmental Audio settings ?

Na,ive tried them, if im on the ground outside the plane at start up and take off all sounds give off an echo , have you ever heard of this before?

Nice to know Im not alone... anyone else out there noticed this , its not a problem ,Id just like to be able to turn it down a bit if thats possible.

Heck, I had that problem about 3 years back, I got it fixed quite easily, but for the life of me, I can't remember at the moment.
It was either an ingame setting, or a system sound setting....i'll think about it a bit more, it might come back to me soon... :o hock:
Have you run il2setup and gone throught the sound options to make sure its set up correctly?

YuP, thats done it , turned off the audio enhansments in the setup files and Hey Presto no more echo,but(and there's got to be a but) it would be nice to have some ajustment, I had a look in the config files but I dont understand any of that yet.....Thankyou very much Bigboss.
