Request for a good mod: Pilot getting tired because of G - Faucon - 08.02.2008
I think that would be one of the "top best mod" of IL2: Tiredness of the pilot.
IRL, fighter pilots wouldnt survive if they were flying like we do in IL2.
From my point of view, in IL2 I think black out is too much "powerful". BUT the pilot dont getting tired after a turn-fight with many high-G moves.
Does someone could try to see if it's possible to make that kind of mod?

Pilot Fatigue... yes that would be good
I know its been suggested it'll be with SoW... but wouldnt it require a lot of recoding of the engine?

I dont know anything about modding but yes I think it would be a big work. That's why i'm asking if it's possible.
That's would be great, that would change the way of fighting, we'll cant turn like a marsian ship with a La7... a real revolution.

Just get a few barbells and lift them 100 times after a few missions and then put on some scratched up sunglasses and that should simulate the feeling a bit.

A BIG BUMP FOR THE MOD!

Such a mod would be great!
In the meantime I simulate other effects on my chair: if I bank the plane i also bank on my chair (unfortunately I can't invert hehe), if I pull sudden motions on stick I shake my head, or if I'm in a high-g turn I assume a different body and head position such that I don't see very well the screen  That's some fun!

How about tie a 10 pound weight to the top of your head to simulate g forces in turns.

Yeah, that would be great, but it's not so simple, must have some device which calculates g-force from game then varies accordingly the weight acting on my head.
BTW, it is also good having some 5-6 beers before the mission, then when you enter those dogfights with lots of spins, inversions, vertical dives, then you feel really sick

Ya, you have to vary the force. Guess we will have to tie a big as-s rubber band to our heads or a "bow flex" stick!
In some of the Call of Duty series running up and down the stair over and over made me dizzy don't you know! :?
I like the beers idea a lot.
