Mod Request: Bf-110D, E, and F Models - Graf - 09.02.2008
Would it be possible to make models of these aircraft using the existing Bf-110 models?
For the D all that it would require is an extension of the tail fuselage past the fins/rudders on the already existing C-4 model.
E model would use the same above and add the air inlet already existing on the G-2 model.
For the F model all that would require is using the G-2 model and replace the canopy with the C-4 canopy and single rear gun.
Would it also be possible to allow the C-4/B to carry fuel tanks such as the G-2 carries?
Thanks...

that would not good, no discussing FM WM discussion here

Agree. Asking for that is too much and not allowed. Hopefully just some model changes wouldn't be too much to ask for.

I suggested a while back about converting the KI46 into a BF110 so that we can have some schragemusik, but the naysayers got onto it "Oooh, the BF110 could never fly like the KI46" etc. Its only a cosmetic change dammit

It could be done in 4.05, the AI code for the Dinah and the bf-110 both exist in that version and it isn't under the ban.

Thought I'd better quote the original post by Graf for emphasis. A cosmetic change for D, E and F's would be great (long tailed Dora is my favourite  )

Anyone?

Ja, bumpage for this. And the radar aerials for the G4.

All these types, the 110D, E and F would warrant new slots (therefore free on FM/WM changes obviously and in no way contradicting site rules).
According to domestic publications, aside from cosmetic changes the 110D was fitted with drop tanks. It is effectively the Me-110 version of the Ju-87R for mediterranean and other long range operations but otherwise a C-4/B for FM/WM.
The 110E introduced 601P engines (the bomber version of the 1200PS 601N using C2/3 fuel). It also featured new armament options like the MK-101 anti-armour gun in a belly pack (used on this variant in North Africa). Generally armament capacity was increased to around 1000kg and the airframe was strengthened.
The 110F of course used 601F engines (the bomber version of the 1350PS 601E motor) as well as other changes already mentioned and more armouring. Weapon load was up to 1200kg. I think this one also introduced the MG-151/20 standard armament.
From what I've read the 110E was rushed into service on the Eastern Front to update zerst
