Order of the skins - Printable Version

Order of the skins - deRuyter - 24.02.2008

Hi,
I'm doing some selection of custom skins. I pick up those I like, put them in apropriate folders and rename them according their properties. That mean, that I put some abbreviance at the beggining, somethink like:
$RF_d_name.bmp
which means, that it is skin with RAF markings with desert colours.

Trouble is, that in ingame menu the skins for some planes are in alphabetical and for another not. So instead of having all RAF desert skins in one block, then block of sea skins and block of winter skins I have them mixed-up.
I try to sort them in file manager according to name, date or size, but nothing seems to exactly match the ingame order.

Does anybody know according to which property Il2 chooses order in the list? And what to do to have them in right order?
