Not looking for a mod to the current shipping damage model but rather was wondering if anyone has been able to look at he hit boxes of the current DM?

Looking to find those sweet spots on the ships. A little reverse engineering

Yeah. There was another thread about this, but not too much has come of it.

Fabianfred's mod collection: viewtopic.php?t=2949

has the ini files that control the damage to weapons, etc in there, as well as the settings for the different hull sections.

Try that.

Not into extracting SFS files, could someone post up in say PDF format what the weapons.ini file says. No so much for the guns but I'm most interested in the bombs in game... working on a comprehensive bombing guide...

just looking for the stock 4.08m info not looking to modify or change just need to know what the raw data is for the bombs...

I have not ever seen them extracted, only the FM stuff.

I have seen the ships.ini file, and the technics.ini. Those are the ground/sea weapons.
