Bristol Beaufighter TF MK X rear gunner - Superdooper - 15.03.2008

S! Guys...
I got a suggestion...Is there anybody can do a version of the Beaufighter with the rear gunner like the Beaufighter TF MK X...I think it will be a great improvement for that plane Smile

sorry this is one of the first things i tried to do when modding - unfortunatly first off we dont actually have a gun there for us to fire so we cannot set a gun station up there + even if we could it may well be considered a cheat online as some would have a rear firing Beu & others wouldnt

- Superdooper - 15.03.2008

Thaks for the fast reply Smile
I didn't have any intention for a cheat, is just knew that certain version of the Beaufighter had a rear gunner...It's why i ask that Smile

that's understood. but what about just - a view? no firing, just for observation. even 'no cockpit' view is fine, like for some gunners (e.g. Me-323).
same with Me-210, Ki-46 and probably Moskito.

P.S. yes I asked that before...persistent

a view? i dont think that it is a such a bad idea! i would like that Big Grin

- deRuyter - 17.03.2008

May I also add request for navigators position?
Beau is nice plane to fly, but a sitting duck to every attacker, since you are blind in almost 180 degrees in horizontal.
And if it is absolutely not possible - maybe to add mirror? It's maybe not absolutely historicaly correct, but less then it is now.

Could someone create and add rear position for Beaufighter Mk. 21?

- Trooper117 - 04.04.2008

Mate.. Read all of the posts above.. At the moment it can't be done.

- Guest - 19.04.2008

someone, please add a rear gun, the beau is a sitting (or dead in the game) duck!!!

- Trooper117 - 19.04.2008

Mate.. Read the post above, it can't be done.. (at this moment in time anyway).
