Hiya all...
I need to figure out a way to make a 5 blade prop
can we do it using alpha channels ? & if we can .... can someone make one & post an image

get a 3 or 2 blade prop & using alpha channels remove the relavent props?

can normal - standard propellers be edited via the alpha channels...? I mean, mearly deleting a blade...? ie turning a two bladed prop into 1?

If so, and if you could figure out the merging... would that work?

I wish I knew how to do this so I could do this without anoying you to find out... :oops:

Ranwers if i make a single blade - (just 1 prop) can you duplicate it 5x to make a 5 blade prop ?

With merged propellers is one problem - working only one.

ok ive made a single blade mesh - now i need to dupe it another 4x to make 5 bladed mesh then i need to make it spin hock:

i can make more than one spin but its difficult to make the blured animation kick in

i can make a five bladed prop spin on a bomber but not yet a fighter ??

i have found some bits & bobs within the class files - im hoping within time we can suss this out ? maybe Sjack ?

I can't say that, not that I not needed :wink:
But every mesh is defferend. Sometimes I can't move mesh how I wish. (very oft )

sorry i just thought that you may not have needed the heir file coz thought you may have edited one yourself to include the prop..
