***HELP PLEASE - With the QMB mod / new maps - VonBarb. - 19.03.2008
Hi. Sorry if this isn't the right place for a help request, I'm new around here. Admins please move the thread to the suited forum if it is off topic in this one.
I'm having some trouble with the new QMB.
Here is what I did : Set up a little mud-kicking mission in QMB flying the IL-10 over Bessarabia, selecting 'quick_strike' in the 'target' box. I could actually fly two missions, and on ending the last one, I recorded it into a .trk file so I could play it later and take some pics.
Heres what is happening now : The .trk file will play fine until about halfway through the mission. After that my plane starts to fire randomly and eventually crashes. That's no big deal, .trk files go mad sometimes, don't they ? The worrying part is that I can no longer select 'quick_strike' or any other target in the 'target' box in the QMB menu. I have tried with random planes, changing axis/allies, tried all the maps, but everytime I press 'fly' a little box pops up saying 'data file corrupt'. I can still play air to air though.
Has anyone experienced this problem before ? How can it be fixed ? The new QMB is so cool with all the new maps and options, I'd like to keep as much of them functional, so can anybody please help me ?
Thanks in advance for any advice, as I am clueless.
Cheers
Nico

You should write tracks in ntrk format instead. That trk format is obsolete.

Default targets are the only ones that work for me in new QMB (with a few exceptions)

Yes, but default targets don't even work anymore now. Does anybody know of a way to make THESE work at least ?
Cheers
