RAF Rank in Russian -lil help please- - Dixiecapt - 26.03.2008

I've tried checking a host of files, I have tried the English Lang. Fix.... but I am having no luck getting my English RAF and RN Ranks from beign Russian.

It sais

Skwadron Leeder

So it loads the right ranks but only in Cyrillic.

Open the file "rank.properties" in the GB-mission folder, copy and paste it into "rank_ru.properties" and Bob's yer uncle....

Sorry ... I need a little help here.
I have located the "rank.properties" file and the "rank_ru.properties" file - both are "properties" files in the Missions/Campaign/GB folder.

1How does one "open" these files? I don't seem to be able to - Windows asks me waht program I want to use to open the file.

Clearly I am not following what to do here!

open them with notepad .... ( choose notepad when windows asks )
