SFS extraction - x4btr - 30.03.2008

Greetings All,

I did not see a post on this topic, so apologies if this was asked before. I wonder if anyone has managed to extract ALL of the files from the SFS archives? When I employ our well-known utility for this purpose, I see that only a percentage of the files may be extracted.

I wonder for the reason that a number of files I wish to work on are, alas, those not able to be extracted! The Yak family cockpits, for example. Has anyone had some success here?

Cheers

I have exactly the same problem; some sfs cabinets are only 20% extractable (is that an English word? Smile
I tried to add effects to tracers, but acnnot extract the necessary files. I have seen the needed files in other mods, so how come they can extract them and we cannot?

Hi! I think you can see only a few percentage of the files that may be extracted beacose some files are not in filelist.txt (in SFSextractor folder) which is used to extract. If there is not (for example) "3do/cockpit/Yak-1(Multi1)/Throttle.msh" entry, you will not extract that file.
I think you should add some lines (like 3do/cockpit/Yak-1(Multi1)/Throttle.msh) in the filelist of SFSextractor.
I guess that "3do/cockpit/Yak-1(Multi1)/Throttle.msh" exist. Maybe it will be "3do/cockpit/Yak-1/Throttle.msh", you shoul try
