Control key assignments - Kafco - 30.03.2008

~S~All,

I am running a keyboard emulator in my flight sim control panel. On the momentary single pole double pole switch for flaps I am using "b" for extend flaps.

This works fine for CFS2, FS9 and WoVN but will not work for IL-2 versions.

I know I can rewire it for another key and may have to do that. But...my question is; why will "b" not work in IL-2 but is fine in the others?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,
Ken

Have you tried going into the control section in the Il2 game and assigning the correct keys to the desired functions?

stansdds,

Yes. I first operated the switch to see if it would recognize. When it did not, I put the "b" in manually from the other keyboard so that it shows "b" to be the cmd. Nada....

Since it works in other sim engines, there has to be something in IL-2 that will not recognize "b" as a cmd for that function. Beats me.....Guess I will have to rewire the switch....rats.

Thanks for your input.

Regards,
Ken
