What's the right way? Noticed in filelist, a lot of the entries from readme's are using / (slash) seperators, while others are using \ (backslash), so what is correct, or are both OK? Or should DOS convention be the go? There are more, but here's just 2 examples, taken from the mod readmes'.

But new "wrapper.dll" is the way to go. It makes "filelist obsolete.

But some seem to need the Files/Filelist way, and I have a few I can't get working yet, gonna try fresh install for those, waiting for son to send me 4.08 patch, (On dialup, and busy D/l mods here.... ), and lost previous patches in "Crash". I think both of those 2 work, that's what was strange to me. Thanks.

I run 4.08m with sound mod 1. I have removed "filelist" from root folder and use wrapper.dll.
I have kept all the pre wrapper mods in "Files" and new stuff to "Mods" folder. My "ini files" are still under "Files " folder. Everything works fine.
Check for duplicates etc.

Yeah, I put as much as I can in MODS folder, as I'm fairly new to this site, only found it 2 - 3 weeks ago, because of the ban of discussing at other sites, which by the way I find senseless as so far this site seems to be working within a very strict set of rules, and I'm all for improving iL2, can't but get more players involved I'd thiink, not an Online player, so don't know about there. I didn't want to complicate life too much so just used the Files\Filelist way if it was an older (Pre-Wrapper) mod, and am working through them a few at a time. Thanks for your help.
