Speaking of mirrors - P-38L - 15.04.2008

Now that you are speaking about mirros...

From the cockpit of a P-38 you can see through a mirror if your nose landing gear is down. It is possible to add this two mirrors?

Hey, that's pretty clever! Never seen that before.

Allot of work to go through just to back up the landing gear position indicator.

Would be cool, though...
I say why not? :o

Hey, thats nifty! But yeah, whats wrong with the cockpit indicator?
Oh well, if it can be done, go ahead...

yes, i was wondering about the cockpit indicator

The indicator could be easily damage for many reasons especially in combat flight, and Its a not a mirror, its not painted aluminum part of engine cowl polished on high burnish.

I like the idea, but I think it will be a FPS killer. Sad

i dont think that it will be fps killer
if it is, THEN GET A BETTER GFX CARD

Thank you for advice GentleKiller.

i agree with MICHOO its not a mirror but brushed aliminum that effect may be difficult to achieve. Not sure about FPS that would probebly be ok as they are not constantly in view
