Need help understanding the .mis file - mane_raptor - 20.04.2008

Hello folks,

I'm working on a little VB project and I need some help understanding a couple of things.

First: How does IL2 know which side (red or blue) to assign to a [Wing] from the entries in the [Main] section of the .mis file?

Second: Does anybody have a link to, or know of, an explaination for the structure of the [Target]
section of the .mis file?

What I'm hoping to accomplish here is a quick exe that will scan the eventlog, then list all the available Coop missions in that file, then taking the selected one, give forth a bit ( :roll: ) better report of what happened and who did what during that mission that what IL2 gives forth right now.

Yea, I know there is simular stuff out there, but this is for my flight simming rig, which consists of 4 fully equipped (HOTAS) PC's running over a LAN, with a 5th acting as the Teamspeak server and general boss of the whole thingmie. And besides I like writing code. hock:

So any help would be most welcome.
