Joystick commands - X52? - pomak249 - 22.04.2008

I use a Saitek X52 HOTAS stick (not the pro) with the Saitek SST software which allows all the sliders/buttons etc to be programmed - you know all that im sure!

I'd like to get away from the SST and program the stick thru IL2 only - however not all the sliders can be programmed via IL2 and the mode switch doesnt work as a shift either.

Now we've opened IL2 can anything be altered to make it accept more joystick commands?

Hope that makes sense?

I use an X52 as well, and also absolutely hate the SST programming software. I've never had any problems actually binding controls to any of the axes. Make sure that you go right to the very bottom of the controls setup to the section titled "HOTAS" to bind movements to the axes and sliders.

I've never tried using the mode switch button in IL2, so can't really comment.
