How can I get my loading screen back? - Guest - 24.04.2008
I am reposting this over here as it got no response in general forum but I would really appreaciate some help here.
After having downloaded the list of mods in the beginners guide and also the spit Mki I find that my Title/ loading screen and pilot ranks in career mode are in russian. I have already tried the english language fix but it hasnt helped. Can someone help me get my english loading screen and my english pilot ranks backplease? I have a clean unmodded back up so if anyone can tell me where the original files are located that would be cool. (as long as replacing them wouldn't ruin my mods)

Go to missions, campaign, GB and delete anything with _ru. (make back up)

Don't know about load screen.

Thank you Bonzo. That fixed my rank problem. Now if anyone can help me with my loading screen?

Here maybe this can help you. Please read through the whole thread, I think you may just need to replace your .tga files

Thanks for trying to help badger but replacing the TGA and MAT files with the ones from the unmodded version didnt help. the pic is the same but the overlaid writing is still in russian instead of english.
I've tried placing the background TGA into the Missions folder and also the files/gui folder with no success.

How about the re installing the new wrapper mod, then if that doesnt work try the SFS. File

reinstalling wrapper didnt work. what is SFS file? And as far as that other thread goes, I think it seems the same problem, but I dont even have a filelist.txt file as far as I can tell. I ran a search for it and it came up with no hits.
