Ricochets and smoke in cockpit possible? - bonzo - 26.04.2008

When I see footage of ground strafing there are ricochets all over the place, as we have them bouncing off the il2 can it be done for ground targets?
Would it be possible to have the cockpit fill with smoke when you are hit so that you would have to break for home rather than fight on till the engine dies?
