There is no mod availeble for this what your asking. In general, the way it is, is the way it was. Plain and Simple. But im sure that some of us like to see a mod for this.

Aircraft that had historical ammunition counters in the cockpit have those working in il2 (for example the F2A Buffalo, MC.202, BF-109, etc.). It's a good idea to download the cockpit guide 4.08 v1 available on PDF and familiarise yourself with the individual cockpits of aircraft you wish to fly.
I would also like to see a mod which allows pilots to replenish ammunition and fuel upon landing, so they can take off again and continue the mission (especially in airfield defence scenarios). For example during the historical defence of Pearl Harbour a handful of USAAF pilots landed and exchanged planes for ones fuelled and armed up several times and continued flight operations until the attacks were over.

We already have that; 'refly'

LMAO

Refly is a waste of time if you are flying in a campaign, the hard won victories you have just achieved won't be counted, you'll just refly the mission.. but then again, you all knew that!

Yes but it was very funny
