I/JG54_Gringo's artwork thread. - Guest - 08.05.2008
Ok guys,i'll post here all of my new photos, cos i want all of my work to be at one place, and don't want to creat a spam.
So back to the B&W/Black & White/ -> BtC /Back to Color/,as the guys that are working this in PSP and PS are colling this kind of art work.
Before:
After:
What do you think?
Still learing...
I'd like someone to test my skills,he can post here some B&W pictures, and i'll convert them back to color.
The only rules are:
1-The pictures to be from WW2 aviation.
2-And to be with good resolution and quality.
That's all for now folks...

Thx Hawk
.
Sure Andy,i'll see what i can do
.
But i need from you only to tell me:
-Do you want them as wallpapers or ingame poster?
-And who's that guy "Pips" Priller? With which geschwader he served, and in which theatre of war?Did he flew only 190's (Cos on the photo with Priller,i see that he's standing by the rudder of a 190 with a looooot of victory markings.)
Sry for the last bunch of question....But i don't know all the aces of the luftwaffe, there are a lot of them....
- LeLv17_Andy - 13.05.2008
Posters would be fine.
http://luftwaffe.cz/priller.html
Priller was one of the most known aces of Lufwaffe. He was part of the famous JG26 "Abbeville boys" as Allied forces called them.
There are rumours that he was a guy who could get G

Ok,that will help
.
I'll try to creat the new ingame posters as soon as possible (will be in .tga formats).
Any demands for the resolution?
- LeLv17_Andy - 13.05.2008
1024x768 possible?
Good for desktop... Maybe 1152x768 or wat is it.
- Guest - 13.05.2008
Nice ones, M8!
Naturally, there's going to be payback!
I didn't mind you shooting up the 17 except that it was carrying my case of smuggled, genuine Bulgarian yogurt! Once we had the culture we could have started making it ourselves!
- Guest - 14.05.2008
 maybe yes,maybe no Fat.
For Andy:Ok m8,resolution 1024x768
.

Thanks
- Guest - 14.05.2008
Thx,and no problem Rommel. For the Heinkel-111 cockpit, there will be a way to get it ,be sure.
It is still work in progress, and isn't ready and isn't released yet.
We're trying to finnish and release the project as soon as possible.
And by saying

Ok Andy, and for everybody else that want a new ingame wallpaper
,here it is.
to download.
The file is .tga type ,and at 1024x768 resolution.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Now those are edited, and are not looking the same,as the one for download. Those are for Desktop wallpapers.
Which one you prefer?
ps: On those wallpapers is represented Hans Joachim Marseille in his Messerchmitt Bf-109,shooting down a P-40,which happened on 26.9.1942.On that day he scored 6 more victories against Spitfires. With the victories from this day,he have officially scored 158 aerial victories for that period.
EDIT: And almost forgot....Hans was one of the few german piltos, who used to fight in horizontal/maneuverable fight too.Actually in an interview, many of his squadmates said that they were amazed when they watched him how he's turnfighting with the enemys. Also he was an expert in broking the "Defensive curve" formation.
