No engine sounds in cockpit - Old_Canuck - 08.05.2008

Finally made the leap and just had to try the B-24. One little problem ... In cockpit the only sounds are the flaps actuating and rattling sounds with gear down. Outer view with sound mod. vs. 9.3 has the deep engine rumble I was hoping to hear but it's very faint unless the speakers are cranked all the way up.

Any suggestions? My sound card is SoundBlaster Audigy and the sound is set up in game as follows:

Sound Engine - Direct X
Playback Channels - 8
Audio Quality - 44100
Speakers Type - Quadraphonic
Enable Extsnsions switch is "up."

... maybe someone could help with the sound problem as a birthday present? :lol: For now the B-24 sounds like an IL-2 Sturmovik using the SFX vs 6 option (which is the only one that works).
