I'm sure some folks know that I'm working on a BoB 1940 DF Map using one Fly-zo BoB maps (Look in the screenie forum  ) ................anyway as the Map of London and Portsmouth was blank, I've had to add loads of objects to make both London, Portsmouth, London Docks, the Airbases etc look real - not having a go at Fly here btw

But the way this templated DF Map is going it might by very laggy (Is that how you spell it? God knows  ) that I'm worry that folks just won't use it as a DF Game which I can understand, but would be a bit pissed with the amount of work I've put into it

On and off I've spent two weeks on this and from various sites they want to use it as a template for them to make they're own missions or for me to start up again making Single Missions and Campaigns.........so I was wondering as we have here: Single Missions, Campaigns Forums etc how about having one like they do at Misssion4Today and have the same kinda thing but with the new maps?

Good idea? Or shall I just go to bed now

Judging from a WW1 map I did, and the test mission I use for building skins; the biggest impact will be on load time.

Buildings may affect lag when players buzz a populated area, but if they fly at realistic altitude, (rather than driving He 111s up the A2  ) it should be playable.

A lot of moving vehicles would have more drastic effect.

If you want to test on HL post here.

After I wrote this last night m8 I went on HL with it and it seem ok so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that other folks won't have a problem with it when I'm hosting...........he said
