[MOD] Fixed Vc Pit - for new wrapper - totalspoon - 09.05.2008

For me the old Vc pit was almost unflyable due to its highchair cockpit.

In normal view, you can't see the nose at all...


If you lean right forwards and look down (with 6DOF), you can just see the tip of the nose way down below you...


This mod corrects the Vc cockpit, lowering the cockpit down to where it should be...



I've also moved the control column back an inch or two so you can see your compass clearly on gunsite view.


There's a version floating around for the old wrapper, but this version is for the latest one. Nothing new is added so if you have the older version, there's not really any point upgrading...

To Install; Unzip the new folder into your IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 folder
To Unistall; Just delete the Spitfire Vc fixed pit folder (found in IL-2 Sturmovik 1946/mods)

NICE!!! Great improvement. It always bugged me by having low veiw instruments not to mention the blocked base compass, that one of the main reasons I built my own sim pit via device link. This would be a for-sure plus for online flyin. Great work M8.
