Me-410 Hornisse Campaign - sc1949 - 13.05.2008
Me-410 Hornisse Campaign
This is a fictitious campaign featuring 2 versions of the Me-410 (B & D) from
the AAA Mod Community, which is a really lovely aircraft, deserving of a
campaign.
Starts in Berlin, with 2 training missions, then the Ardennes, made on the
tab_ardennes Winter mod map, during winter 44-45 and back in Berlin in 1945,
and finishes with a run for the Allies in Belgium in May 1945. Has so far 34 missions, about 550kb without any skins.
I adapted this campaign from a French website (Forget which) version of a Me262
campaign I downloaded last year, but don't know who the author is. As you'll
see my interpretations from French leaves a lot to be desired, but I hope
you'll enjoy this anyhow.
A small problem I am having, when I played the first 2 missions (Berlin map), all went well, but when I kept playing the next 4 missions (tab_ardennes map), they played OK, BUT didn't update my mission count, which stayed at 2, and so you'd end up playing mission 3 again .
Now I only have 4.08, and graphics set fairly low as video card is CRAP, and was wondering if this is because Tab_ardennes map is 4.09beta, could be the cause of this.
Will change map to ordinary ardennes and see if that fixes problem, but missions all play ok as single missions, and I only noticed this late last night.

Hi mate, this sounds like a good campaign for the Hornet.
Did you try to run the campaign with 'No Instant Success' Turned OFF? If you did not do this and the mission contains a hidden recon point or other objective, and you fail to hit it, you will not advance.
When converting the campaign from other stuff, take a look around in FMB for 'targets', I bet that's your problem.

Maybe, better to wait WIP map "Northeast France"?

Thanks Monty & Boser,
After changing tab_ardennes to ordinary ardennes, this goes on its merry way, so it's a 4.09beta problem for me in campaigns, but not in single missions.
Will upload tab ardennes version if anyone wants to try, otherwise will go as ordinary ardennes campaign till I get 4.09.
Another problem I noticed while doing this campaign was to do with the Weapons_Ru file. This would stop me loading missions, until I noticed that all the Me-410 weapon entries had this : 2x250sc or 4x50sc, instead of 2xsc250 or 4xsc50 etc. When I changed them, they worked OK. Don't know if anyone else has come across this yet, but could save problems in future.

Having trouble getting this to you. Can't seem to contact Creepy847, have left some PM's with no luck, and also tried uploading to M4T, was advised to put in the "special" download section, but when I did that I got a pink warning saying I had already uploaded the same files, so sent a PM to one of their moderators, who replied that he had fixed the problem, but so far it hasn't been put on the M4T site. I may not be here for a while, so keep checking at both sites, hopefully this will get fixed.

So yeah...I downloaded the campaign, and I get to Mission 2, and I get an error that says "SC250 not found for Me-410B"...I can't play the mission!
Any help?

MercenaryMuffin,
mate, in a post above I said I was having same problem and just changed bomb load to suit, there was a problem with weapon_Ru I thought, but noone replied with how to fix it. You could also go into the second missions file and change weapon load ( "weapons 12xSC50") to another loadout, say "weapons 8xSC250" should work. Sorry about that, and I'm late replying as have been away for a few days.
These are the loadouts for the Me-410B, as in my Weapons_Ru file, so the above should have worked, but I never locked the weapons loadout for players, so you can change to what you like.

Edit: No, wait, that didn't fix it.
Alright, well, I ended up just playing the mission with default weapons. The next missions are working just fine.
