Well... My hands are full. And I mean very full. I think M4Sherman was having a crack at it.

But if nothing comes to pass by the time the Whirlwind is ready I might have a look at it.

Swordfish??? - Kopfdorfer - 04.08.2008

There is a good preservation of a swordfish at a local museum near my home. If someone is interested and would use them, I would take some digitals of the aircraft, cockpit and instruments details and email them.
Any takers? I am only interested in contributing if an historical approach is taken for this aircraft - ie unique fm, accurate instrumentation, etc.
...but I would love to see this baby fly!

Am I right in thinking that the Swordfish was 1 of only 2 British aircraft (the other was the Spitfire) which remained in frontline service from the start of the War in 1939 until the very end?

Didn't someone already have one almost completed ? In fact I think at one point there were two on the go. Also I think there was a Kingfisher almost done.
Don't remember where I saw them now.
