lost my campaigns - oho - 28.05.2008

Hi all,
I'don't get my old careers - the language changed from german to english - that's fine with me. Everything seems to work, only when I click on career I only get new careers from dgen. I use my old pilot - any ideas?

switch to DCG. It is independant of DGen and helps with this problem, but it is different then DGen, only in a really good way.

just a suggestion.

thanks, but I lost the state of my handmade (bought) campaigns. I already copied the campaigns.ini with the states into the user directory (that worked when I went from 4.04 to 1946), but it seems, that with the mod there is an update of campaigns.ini when starting the game without using the old states. Start of new campaigns (also of the handmade ones) are no problem.
Do you have an idea?

Go to your recycle bin and do a detailed search. When you delete something on your PC it is not deleted, your PC just marks that memory as "can be written over." You may be able to find the file and restore it. You might try maybe some other methods of searching your memory and hard drive for the file.

Were these static campaigns or dynamic campaigns? If they were static then I don't know, but if they were dynamic, all that really matters is where the front was and what your stats were right? maybe you could just set up a campaign, adjust your stats and rank and the front about where you remember and try to continue? I know alot about DCG, but I know next to nothing about DGen. Sorry.

Could it be that you need to change the filenames in Ngen and Dgen folder? -

from (eg) "CampaignGuadal.dat" to "CampaignGuadal_ru.dat"

(On checking there was no Dgen in my Mods folder  )

I have a copy of my campaign.ini, but when i copy it into the user directory it seems to be overwriten in the moment when i open careers (The static and the dynamic campaigns (dgen and dcgen)). The new careers (started after installing the mod) are still there when i quit and restart the game.
