How about some pilot bodies in cockpit? - Spinnetti - 29.05.2008
First off, Thanks to all the modders and these great mods! I've been playing IL2 since it first came out, and thanks to you, it keeps getting better.
One long term want is to see the pilots arms & legs when flying. Seems odd to have a ghost cockpit... is this possible?

I would suggest to change the 3d model of the pilots to suit the different nation's flight gear, if it's possible.

I agree!
You know miracles could be happen with just minor changes.
I could offer my experties in WWII flight clothing and equipment to achieve this. 8)

I suggested this in the Mission4today forum & got no interest. To see what can be done, look at 'Condor' - the glider simulator which has an excellent pilot who moves BOTH hands when operating a control. This subject has always bugged me particularly in FS9 which has the same bare cockpit problem.

I agree with what poster of this forum said about adding pilot body with nation's unique gears wholeheartly. It will definely add the immerse feeling to il-2 1946!

I think I have it (unless I gave it to a friend)... I bought every single version.... and the last one twice!! I don't ever remember being able to see your body though.
