"If flying were the language of man, soaring would be its poetry." - Neil Armstrong

Try it. You'll be hooked.

No noise but for that little whoosh of the air coming in the vents :!:

Shortly after I got married my wife broke one of her front teeth. Naturally, being a woman, she was upset because it looked real funny. The dental appointment was a few days away which made things worse. She had never flown in a sailplane so I sent her up for a flight. When she returned, all was serenity. That's the kind of imapct it can have on you, especially if it's your first flight. Big Grin

nice anecdote...FB..thanks for sharing 8)

And start fliying again Big Grin you just need one or a half day in 2 weeks :!:

It's gotten to be very expensive over here now. It used to be very inexpensive. It's that way with everything in the States right now.

Anyway, I know that I'd get into one of the forms of competition. Getting into a cockpit brings that out in me.

The truth is that aerobatics feel much more "normal" to me than being on the ground :!: 8)

- Thermikus - 09.06.2008

We have 1g on earth thats the secret Big Grin

In Germany its very cheap...you can get your license with 1000 euro!
