The Slipry Exhaust flames.Poss. to have Black Smoke instead? - Spidermonkey - 09.06.2008
I do really love the effect of the engine start-up in the Slipry with the bright flame, however what would be superb would be the same effect, but as dark or even black smoke instead.
Is it possible for Slipry or another modder to change the start-up of the engine so that we have dark/black smoke from the exhaust pots instead?
Hoping it is, cheers, SM

Well, it should already have a plume of smoke stock. So all you'd really need to do is find which .tga it refer's to and edit that to be darker...

Smoke seen at engine start is mostly oil that has collected in the cylinders and is blown out into the exhaust. Oil smoke is a bluish gray color. You usually won't see dark or black smoke from an engine during start up.

Hmm. Ok, more of a dark blue/grey/black colour then. With the sort of contrast that the flame has just to give it that visual edge?
