Problems with multiplayer - Kye - 09.06.2008

Hello all. Hopefully someone can help me.

I can't connect to servers from going the in game route: Multiplayer> join> *enter IP*

Connecting to the servers on Hyper lobby is no problem though.

The correct port, 21000 is open on both my router and the windows security features. I use AVG as a virus gaurd and it's not been a problem. The router has allowed people to connect me to, and I to them with no faults at all. It's a fault that has been seemingly sprung up on me. Some of the people I fly with also have the same problem.

Can anyway shed any light on this?
