New to skin building - Spanky - 15.06.2008

Hi I am new to skin building and i use Paint.net and i was wondering why when i load a void template it is 1,026KB bitmap and i paint a skin and save it it is now a 3,087KB Bitmap. I would like to know how i get it back to a 1,026 so i can use it? any help if you can understand my post.

...you need to save it as indexed color bmp

useful app for that is "bright" .... available at link posted above
