NEW AIRCRAFT & CTD'S? - making153 - 18.06.2008

Hi,

I notice in the new aircraft aircraft section that lots of people are having issues when installing new aircraft - seems to me around 1 in 10 of us have problems with CTD after install.

Now the law of averages suggests we cant all be making errors so I suggest the install process is still not perfected - I suspect its issues with the AC_INSTALLER's, or the STD folder - but something isnt right here?

Personally I have scrubbed all my new aircraft and my game runs brilliantly, if I install a new one all hell breaks loose !! :?:

Seems to me this problem is being ignored but needs addressing, unfortunately i'm no PC guru and dont know the ins & outs of this stuff but surely someone needs to take notice?

I had similar problems when reinstalling Il2. I found 2 circumstances where I messed up - The Spit Mk 1 installs a folder to the Il2 directory which needs to go in the Mods/Std folder probably due the the different ways to add mods - sound mod or mod activator - and always install AC installer after any new aircraft. I hope this is of some help
