Hello all,
if I understand it correctly, there is a prs file for every sound in which certain parameters are set, including the sample - file that should be used with this sound. If I edit the prs-file and enter another wav-file, this wav-file is loaded from the sample-directory. So the prs-file is the link between the game and the wav - correct?
For the game to identify the correct prs file, these files should have the name used in the game - correct?
Question: Is there a list of names for possible prs files which I can use, for example for browning-machine-gun sounds? Then I could copy a prs-file already in the sound-mod and tweak it a little and use my own wav by writing the name into the prs-file.

you can write any wav filename into the prs but the buttons file assigns the prs to the guns/engines so the prs filenames are fixed
