Well I have a top end computer with a good video card. However if there is plenty of smoke, say over and airfield and just after a bomb has exploded. My computer becomes a slideshow. Is there anyway to have the smoke use less FPS?

I remember someone was working on a fire/smoke mod a while ago. Cant remember who it was or if it was ever finished?
IMO the fire from planes looks a bit cartoonish. I would wish the fire didnt exstend so far and looked less concentrated... Ah well, I dont know how do mod things but if people agree I thin it would be worth it?!

At what setting is the Effects=X line in your config file? I know Effects=2 will place the greatest load on your computer, but Effects=1 seems fine for average computers.
