I followed the sticky tutorial but game isn't working - LeutSteiger - 30.06.2008

I've followed the list of how to install or what to install for modding il21946...however the problem is especially either with the AAA aircraft mod pack or the latest sfx mod, my game crashes at 60% loading up.

I'm in need of help trying to figure what I'm doing wrong and if I can get assistance via pm or reply here on how to make my game maximize by trying out the various mods and maps...please and thank you.

For the record also my game is patched to 4.08 as well as 4.09 and have installed the mod compatible 4.09 but still my game crashes...please assist thank you...

I think the problem is that you have a file called "buttons" in the direction C: \ Program Files \ Ubisoft \ IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 \ MODS \ SOUNDMOD \ gui \ game.


if you have that file, delete it and try again.

That file should only be on this site, C: \ Program Files \ Ubisoft \ IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 \ files \ GUI \ Games
