Have an AI Seaplane land on the water and takeoff - -)-MAILMAN- - 03.07.2008

There are many accounts of amphibious planes being sent out to pick up downed fliers. One that comes to mind is when a PBY picked up two pilots off Kolombangara and were escorted by F4U-1 Corsairs (first Corsair Mission in the Solomon Islands in February 1943).

Can an AI Seaplane be made to go from Normal Flight landing on the sea to simulate picking up a pilot and then taking off again and go back to Normal Flight until arriving back at its base and landing?

No sorry creamy...that will not work..

There is no way to get AI aircraft to land and then take-off again...

it is impossible........until someone finds a solution that is

Using some tricky FMB skills you could time one plane to disappear at the exact time an identical plane appears. Just a thought.

Seem to recall the "Target-Recon-Landing " option was thrashed out at Ubi, and wouldnt work for AI.
