creating a map, help pls - danger - 07.07.2008

i would like to have a go at creating a canyon map, with loads of tight,deep canyons to fly through, could a map maker please pm me with a link to the tools needed and perhaps a tutorial. i will be using photoshop 7.

for start , get yourself sfs extractor(tims tools) and extract all mapxx.sfs files(game root) into one folder ... you'll get all map files and proper file structure

make sure you have this filelist.txt in sfs_extractor folder :

there is no complete tutorial ATM .... but you can find info in here viewtopic.php?t=1371 and in any wip thread

for any specific question ...just ask it here and someone will come out with answer

ok, so i had a look at creating a new map............OMFG!!!!!!

i take my hat of to the guys that can do this, i really do. it is so damnd difficult. i am at a total loss on this one and have thus forth given up
