Teamspeak/Mic issues - Horton - 14.07.2008

Ok gents,

I got on the AAA server about 2 weeks ago now. dl'ed TS and got connected to the AAA TS lobby. I went to test my settings and when I'd speak into the mic I got a nasty echo. I had headphones on so I didn't think i'd get that kind of feedback. I tried to see if it was just a testing error, so I went to where a few gents were and tried to talk to them, but I was giving the blue room a nasty feedback noise sounding like shortwave interference. They couldn't hear me, either. Odd, I thought. So I turned on "Push to talk" and they could hear me but barely.

Then I went to another TS lobby to fly a B-17 mission with a few guys, and they couldn't hear me, either. Got a lot of static as well, apparently. I could hear them fine.

Anyone else get this issue and solve it? I'd love any help possible.

No, I have XP. When I get home later I will post my soundcard and any other info that may be useful.

Try turning off hardware acceleration. I have XP and that causes echo on my PC anyways. Smile
