I've got the following files in my 'IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects' folder..
They are:
air, static, stationary, and technics ini files..
Am I right in thinking that I should only have these files in the above folder, and any others, ie in the 'destroy' and 'ship pack' folders need to be deleted or merged with the ones in the 'objects' folder within the STD folder?

Thanks for any help chaps as I think some of my problems with the above mods stem from these conflicts..

...wrapper reads folders/files alphabetically , so only FIRST file it can find gets loaded

if same file is present in "A" mod folder and in "B" mod folder .... only file from "A" mod folder will be loaded ....

i strongly recommend having all of .ini files placed in STD\... folder and NOT having any other similar files present at any other location inside MODS

if installing any mod that doesn't respect that structure ....then update ini files manually ! ( merge one that comes with mod to one you have in STD)

ok guys.. I suspected as much, but I've tried the winmerge thingy and I'm still not getting it into my head how it works correctly.. (yes, I'm thick, lol!)
As requested by 110, does anyone have a simpler way of merging all of these files correctly?
