I hope I got this right! - Vicar - 28.07.2008

First off I hope this is the right place for this query.
Finally got 1946 patched to 4.09bm
Now I need to add the sound mod, wrapper and installer
Are there specific files for 4.09 or are they the same for 4.08?
Sorry if this is the wrong place for this query but need some answers please

Easy enough to answer...they are the same for both MODDED versions.

Fear not this will be moved if necessary, probably under Sound Mods

... you'll need to reinstall 4.09b1m patch after installing sound mod ( cos of newer sfs files )

so choose sound mod version , install it .... install 4.09b1m patch... install wrapper .... install AC Installer ( watch for right sound mod version during install process )

all 4.08 mods works with 4.09b1m game version so have no fear Big Grin

and you've posted this thread just where you should

... i've used sound mod 9.0 for almost a year without problems , recently i switched to 9.03 and i like it a lot ( having no problems so far )

its really up to you ( and your system...)

if you have enough HDD space ( hard disc) you may copy your game directory to another location .... and try them both

cheers

Ditto, also using 9.0 - without any problems; for nearly a year and she is a fantastic piece of work... I've had squad mates who have used 9.3, and had some issues, but after my suggestion to roll back to 9.0; they've had none.
