With fresh 1946 install can I simply copy Mods file to... - Dietz - 30.07.2008
...new install? I'm having real problems getting Il-2 Mat Manager to install in Mods activated sim.I figure if I do fresh install while copying all mission files etc & current Mods file I might be able to easily re -copy them back to the fresh install, after getting Matt Manger to load.Obviously with missions, skins ,users etc. this is do-able ,but I'm not sure about Mods.I don't mind redoing everything , but just wonder if there might be a more efficient way to go about getting everything I want?

Thats a difficult one, and will depend on which mods you are using. you will definately need to reinstall - wrapper, ect. and some mods require you to add lines to filelist and a few other text files.... Oh balls, I'll change my answer to 'NO'. It would probably be easier to reinstall from scratch...
Sorry I thought I could be some help there but to be honest it would probably be more complicated to do than a full reinstall.

no, Fresh install of the game, Download and install the latest sound mod and then the wrapper and then you can copy your mods folder and it will work. I did hat exact thing today.
